Leonard G. Ward, 65 of Temperance, MI, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Born October 2, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Kenneth and Esther Ward. Leonard was a 22 year Air Force veteran, serving 2 tours in Vietnam. He was currently general manager of A & D Glass and Mirror in Perrysburg, OH, where he was employed for the past 15 years. Leonard was a world traveler, diver, archeologist and was a member of the NRA, National Geographic Society and History Channel Club.
He is survived by his loving children, Darren and Kevin Ward, Douglas Miller, Natalie (Michael Crummel) Miller, Alexander DePew, Joseph Gill and Ryan LaPointe; brother, Jhon (Colleen) Ward, best friend and companion, Bonnie Panczner-Simon and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 2-6 pm, Saturday, October 24, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services and military honors will follow at 6:00 pm. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
